A new piece of play equipment has been installed at the Paddock Wood Play Area in North Seaton.
A carousel roundabout has been added to the play area to compliment the improvements to Paddock Wood that have taken place over the past few months.
The new roundabout follows a request from parents, to the Seaton Ward Councillors, to provide additional play equipment for toddlers in the play area.
As well as the new equipment and seating in the play area, work has also taken place to the wider Paddock Wood park to improve pathways and the installation of new, robust litterbins.
The works have been overseen by Seaton Town and County Councillor Jim Lang supported by Town Councillors Avril Chisholm and Kris Lavery, with some of the works funded by Cllr. Lang’s County Council small improvements scheme.
Sadly, Paddock Wood suffers from some anti-social behaviour, vandalism and arson. The Town Council is working with Northumbria Police and the Fire Service to tackle these issues and encourages residents who witness any incident to call the Police (emergency response call 999 or non-emergency call 101) or alternatively visit Report an incident : Northumbria Police
