Unearth the Wonderfolk at Woodhorn Museum this summer!
The Museum has a brand new, exciting, interactive family quest to unearth the lost world of the Wonderfolk, opening from the 24 July till the 3 September.
Visitors will meet Professor Parkyr, a world expert in unexplained underground life forms, and with the help of a magical miner’s lamp will go on a special mission to track down and uncover the stories and secrets of the Wonderfolk - magical, mythical creatures hidden underground among the coal seams.
The Professor needs helpers to search for the Wonderfolk - come and make your own blending in hat and pick up your magical lantern* - your mission is to track down and uncover the stories and secrets of the Wonderfolk.
Everyone is welcome to join in this family activity, but it is particularly suitable for children aged 5+.

* The entire experience lasts about 90 mins, with the quest (lantern tour) lasting approx. 30-40 mins. At busy times, if you have not booked as party of 10, you may be asked to join another group.
