Woodhorn Museum is open to the public - Wednesday to Sunday from 10am - 4pm.

The Museum is located in Ashington which was once the largest pit village in the world! The former Colliery is now home to a popular visitor attraction and welcomes thousands of visitors every year and is home to the world famous Pitmen Painters collection.

The Museum want to make a visit as safe and enjoyable as possible - this means there will be some changes for visitors but the good news is that there will be no need to book in advance.

Visitors can buy an Annual Pass online ahead of a visit, which will reduce the time it takes you to get in and once you have paid you can enjoy unlimited visits for the next 12 months and under 16s visit for free!
