As we close 2025, we want to thank our wonderful community for making this year so special!

To our residents, local businesses, community organisations, and incredible volunteers; your support has been amazing. From our first ECO Fair and Bunny Hop Easter Trail to the Great British Spring Clean, Great Big Green Week, and the Community Fair Day - you've been there every step of the way.
Summer was packed with free swim sessions, our Pride Family Picnic, and the Family Fun Day & Walking Football Festival. Autumn brought our moving Remembrance Sunday service, Halloween activities, and we finished the year in style with the magical Christmas Light Switch-On and Lantern Parade, followed by the Christmas Craft Market by Anita and Mel.
Every event was made possible by YOU - whether you attended, volunteered, or supported in any way. Thank you for making Ashington such a vibrant community!

The Town Council office will be closed from 4:30pm on Tuesday 23rd December 2025 and will fully re-open at 9:00am on Monday 5th January 2026.
During this time, urgent queries can be directed to our answerphone and email. Reports can also be made via Northumberland County Council Customer Service Centre on 0345 600 6400, or through FixMyStreet.
