Bunny Hop Easter Trail Brings Record Turnout to Ashington High Street

Bunny Hop Easter Trail Brings Record Turnout to Ashington High Street

During the Easter half term, residents of Ashington enjoyed the return of the annual Bunny Hop Easter Trail, organised by Ashington Town Council.

Running from 30th March to 12th April, the trail saw shops across Ashington High Street taking part by hosting Easter-themed posters in their windows. Families were invited to explore the town centre, collect stamps, and complete their trail cards for the chance to receive a free Easter egg at the end of their journey.

This year’s event proved extremely popular, with over 140 participants taking part, setting a new record for Ashington Town Council Easter trail engagement.

Ashington Town Council would like to extend a huge thank you to all participating businesses who helped make the trail such a success. A special thank you goes to Scope Ashington and CeX, who kindly supported the event by holding and distributing the Easter eggs to participants.
