Ashington Town Council, in partnership with Ashington Leisure Centre (Places Leisure), is delighted to continue its free swim initiative this Easter Half Term, giving local residents the chance to enjoy the pool at absolutely no cost.

Four sessions will be held throughout the Easter holiday period, offering up to 80 free swimming slots per session on a first come, first served basis. There is no need to book in advance — simply turn up and take the plunge!

Wednesday 8th April  -  1:00pm – 2:00pm

Saturday 11th April  -  2:30pm – 3:30pm

Wednesday 15th April  -  1:00pm – 2:00pm

Saturday 18th April  -  2:30pm – 3:30pm

Each session accommodates up to 80 swimmers and is open to all ages and abilities. Whether you are taking your first strokes or looking to sharpen your technique, these sessions are a fantastic opportunity to get in the water and enjoy the benefits of swimming — completely free of charge.
