Join us for a day of celebration and community spirit as we honour St. George’s Day with a vibrant parade through the heart of Ashington with The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers. Mark your calendars for Saturday the 20th April, as we embark on a memorable journey from Woodhorn Road to the Ashington Memorial Garden.
The parade will muster in the car park to the rear of Woodhorn Road at 12noon. Show you support for the armed forces by lining both sides of the street with flags, cheering and clapping.
As part of this momentous occasion the following shops have entered Ashington Town Council’s St Georges Day Window Display competition.
The parade will culminate at Ashington Memorial Garden, where we will come together in solemn remembrance and celebration to honour St. George’s legacy and pay tribute to our community’s resilience and strength.
