Flowers

Should you wish to lay flowers during the period of mourning, you may do so at Ashington Memorial Garden, off Kenilworth Road, NE63 8DD (opposite Ashington Cricket Club). Please be conscious of others and ensure safe access to and from the gardens.

We kindly ask that you remove any form of wrapping from the flowers before laying them as flowers will be composted when removed.

Please be mindful that respectful protocol requires flowers to be removed at the end of the mourning period, which may be the day after the funeral.

There are locations for the laying of floral tributes throughout Northumberland. These are listed in the attached link, and all ask that people laying flowers remove any cellophane to help protect the environment.
