Election Update Notice - Hirst Ward

Following a review of nominations for the Hirst Ward, NCC Elections have confirmed that one candidate is no longer nominated due to being nominated in multiple wards within the same Parish.

As a result, the remaining three candidates have been elected uncontested to Ashington Town Council’s Hirst Ward:

John Victor Allen Victor George Bridges Pauline Thompson

This means there will be no poll for the Hirst Ward, and electors in the Hirst Ward will not be required to vote for their Town Council representatives. Please note there is still an an election for the County Councillor to represent the Hirst Ward.
