Congratulations to the Mind, Body & Spirit the Winner Ashington’s Christmas Window Display Competition! ✨
Festive shopfronts are lighting up Ashington as shops across Station Road, Lintonville Terrace, Woodhorn Road, and Laburnum Terrace compete in a friendly decoration contest. Fourteen local businesses have transformed their windows into dazzling displays, capturing the Christmas spirit with creative touches like tinsel-trimmed Christmas trees, gingerbread houses, strung fairy lights, and more.
Ribbons, bows, poinsettias, and evergreen accents adorn the windows, while some displays transport onlookers to winter wonderlands with faux snow-dusted pines and presents. The goal is to spread festive cheer through vibrant colours and unique holiday-themed decor, showcasing the creativity of local shops from bakeries to boutiques.
Councillor Victor Bridges who has judged the displays comments "I am delighted to be awarding the deserving winner, Mind, Body & Spirit, with a chocolate hamper for their staff".
Thank you to everyone who took part, each shop window scene all add a touch of magic to the town and enhance the sense of community cheer during this festive season.
