Health & Wellness Focus Week - Sports and Leisure Clubs

Today's Blog: Health & Wellness Focus Week - Sports and Leisure Clubs

Welcome to day 4 of our Health & Wellness Focus Week! So far we've covered eating healthy and getting fit. Today we're focusing on staying active and having fun while doing it.

Getting regular exercise is so important for both your physical and mental health. And joining a sports or leisure club can be a great way to motivate yourself and meet new people. Below I've compiled a list of local clubs you can join to stay active:

  • Ashington Cricket Club
    • Langwell Crescent, Ashington, NE63 8AB
    • 01670 815724
    • Offers cricket for adults and juniors

As you can see, there are lots of great options in our area to suit all interests and schedules. Give a few a try to find one you love. Getting involved in a community of active people is a healthy way to stay motivated and consistent with exercise.

Let me know if you have any other questions! Check back tomorrow when our health week focus will be on mental health.
