Families are invited to join in the fun this Easter with the return of The Bunny Hop Easter Trail brought to you by Ashington Town Council.

Unfiltered, funny, and thought-provoking new production devised and performed by young people, for young people

Ashington Town Council is calling on all community members to join forces for the annual Great British Spring Clean, running March 15th through March 31st. This nationwide campaign organized by Keep Britain Tidy rallies volunteers to spruce up their neighbourhoods by tackling litter and plastic pollution.

Ashington Town Council met on Tuesday 13th February and agreed to award funding to three local community groups for their work to better the town. A total of £1,500 was granted from the council’s small grant fund.

As February, the month of love, comes to an end, we want to remind you of the Council’s commitment to the health of your heart. Last February, we achieved the important milestone of installing 12 defibrillators across Ashington.
