The Town Council office will be closed from 4:30pm on Tuesday 23rd December 2025 and will fully re-open at 9:00am on Monday 5th January 2026.

Ashington Town Council is delighted to formally share the completion of significant enhancement works to Ashington Memorial Garden, in time for this year’s Remembrance Sunday on 9th November and Armistice Day on 11th November.

Ashington is set to illuminate the festive season in spectacular fashion, as Ashington Town Council unveils an exciting partnership with renowned lighting specialists Blachere Illuminations to bring cutting-edge digital projections to four prominent locations across the town, alongside an expanded Christmas lights display.

Ashington Town Council, in partnership with the Royal British Legion Ashington Branch, invites the entire community to join together for Remembrance Sunday on Sunday, 9th November 2025, as the town pays tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service of their country.
