Spooktacular Halloween Fun in Ashington this October Half Term!
Get ready for a thrilling Halloween season in Ashington! We're excited to announce a series of events and activities that will keep the whole family entertained throughout the October half term.
Ashington Market Halloween Crafts Extravaganza
Date: Tuesday, 29th October 2024 Location: Ashington Market Time: 10am to 2pm
Join us for a day of spooky crafts and Halloween-themed activities:
- Pride Action North: Creating Halloween suncatchers
- Mortal Fools: Making spooky friendship bracelets with Halloween-themed materials
- Northumberland Wildlife Trust: Craft Halloween bat decorations using natural materials, see a taxidermy bat, and learn about local bat populations
- Full Circle Food Project: Free pumpkins (courtesy of Ashington Town Council), pumpkin recipes, displays, and biscuit decorating
- Northumberland Family Hubs Team: Halloween-themed playdough and biscuit decorating
- Ashington Library: Fun Halloween crafts, stories, and books
Trick or Treat Trail
Dates: Saturday, 26th October - Saturday, 2nd November 2024 Location: Ashington High Street, Station Road, Lintonville Terrace, Woodhorn Road and North Seaton Road
Explore Ashington's high street with our exciting new Trick or Treat Trail:
- Over 20 participating shops
- Special sticker cards for kids to complete
- Collect sweet treats from each location
- Fun for the whole family!

Free Swim Sessions
Continue the Halloween fun with two free swim sessions at Ashington Leisure Centre:
- Saturday, 26th October: 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
- Saturday, 2nd November: 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
