Ashington Market Halloween Activities a Spooky Success
Thank you to everyone who attended the Ashington Town Council's Trick or Treat Activities at Ashington Market yesterday! It was wonderful to see the community come together and enjoy the fantastic Halloween festivities.
A special thank you to Pride Action North, Northumberland Wildlife Trust, Mortal Fools, Central Northumberland Family Hubs, Ashington Library, and the Full Circle Food Project. Your creative crafts, biscuit decorating, and other activities were a huge hit with both children and adults.
Ashington Town Council would also like to thank NCC’s Neighbourhood Services Team for their support in making this event a success. A special thank you to Ryan, Ashington Town Council’s Officer who did a great job delivering 30 large pumpkins.
We would love to see what you did with your free pumpkins, weather it was making a Halloween lantern or making soup send your photos to admin@ashingtontowncouncil.gov.uk
It was truly heart warming to see the community spirit and enthusiasm on display. The Trick or Treat Activities were a fantastic way to celebrate the Halloween season together. Thank you all for making it a memorable day!
And don’t forget the Trick or Treat Trail is running up until Saturday 2nd November, so if you haven’t already pop into any of the participating shops and pick up your sticker card and get collecting!
If that wasn’t enough for you there is another free swim session at Ashington Leisure Centre on Saturday 2nd November 3:30pm to 4:30pm.
