SUCCESSFUL DAY OF ACTION IN THE HIRST AREA
A fantastic community effort yesterday resulted in an incredible 38 bags of litter collected!

Everyone enjoyed a well-deserved cup of tea and cake at the Hirst Welfare afterwards! 
The day also featured:
Hirst Masterplan consultation with NCC officers Neil Quinn and Gary McGuire, alongside Cllr Pauline Thompson, giving residents the opportunity to discuss future plans for the area.
Operation Impact was in full swing with Northumbria Police making several arrests and seizing vehicles as part of their ongoing commitment to community safety.
