Spring is Blooming in Ashington!
Spring has arrived and Ashington’s looking lovely – with daffodils and crocuses popping up, flower towers full of colour, and Hirst Park fresh and bright. Our town’s gateways and entrances have been freshly tended too, and they’re looking fab – a great welcome for anyone coming in. We’ve even got sustainable planting making Station Road shine.

Spring has landed, bright and clear,
The best time of the blooming year!
With daffodils that catch the light,
And crocuses a purple sight.
The flower towers are standing proud,
Their colours shouting spring out loud.
On Station Road, we’ve planted smart –
Sustainable and full of heart.
Hirst Park’s looking fresh and neat,
A lovely spot for tired feet.
And gateways too, where folks come through,
Are trimmed and tidy, bright and new!
And all around, in every way,
The flowers say, "It's Easter soon – hooray!"
