Ashington Veterans and Elders Institute

Next one for the diary is our Music/Quiz/Bingo Night on Wednesday 26th October, 6.30 til 9.30....we'll go on a bit later if you're enjoying the music!

A few tickets left, £3 members, £4 non members.

Would be great to see a few new faces..

We're delighted to have the buskers who play on a Saturday at Newbiggin Maritime Centre doing at least one spot of easy listening stuff for us, joining Matt Vinyl and The Undercoats.

Hirst Park Winter Challenges

With winter nights creeping in we understand that negativity can creep in just the same. We forget there are so many positives.

So our winter challenge #1 is to share the positivity. Push those negative thoughts aside. Share all things positive!!!

Challenge #2 is take and share photos. We love seeing your photos and we would love to share more on the Hirst Park Memories Website.

Struggling with low mood? Challenge yourself to get out for a walk, take a photo and share to the group.

**MAMATONE AT HIRST WELFARE - TIME CHANGE**

Please note our Mamatone session at Hirst Welfare, Ashington is now a 10.45am start every Friday. Can't wait until Friday? We also run a Mamatone at Blyth Sports Centre every Weds at 10.30am.

Sessions bookable on the Active Northumberland app under the blue 'Mams on the Move' tile.

The Alnwick Garden

Only 1 week to go before The Garden transforms into a whirlwind of ghosts, ghouls and spooky skeletons for our Halloween Daytime Trail!

????The Trail is free with Garden entry and includes a spooky goody bag

????The Trail is family friendly and will run from 10am-4pm

Woodhorn Museum

With Half Term around the corner here's a roundup of what to expect at Woodhorn Museum.

???? We're open seven days a week during the Northumberland school holidays from 10am - 4pm.

???? Admission costs £7 per adult, £6 concession and under 16s visit for free. Once you have paid admission, your ticket is valid all year and you can visit as many times as you like.

???? Take part in our Pumpkin trail and see how many you can spot lurking in the shadows.

???? On Wednesday 26 October you can enjoy Birds of Prey on Display 11am -3pm.

???? Enjoy Free drop-in family workshops on Wednesday 26 October from 11am -3pm with participants from The Bellwether Project.

???? Explore our interactive museum, enjoy the adventure playground and take five in our Winding House Cafe.
